Wow the start of the year has gone by fast. I didn’t reach my goal of 15 reviews sadly. But I will try again next month anyways. Im already 1/4 a way through my year goal of 100 books though. XD Maybe I should of made that a bigger number after all. My first post tomorrow Ill be sure to link to my list of books read, which links to the few reviews Ive done. Still pretty optimistic about this year. And I feel a lot of positive energy.
Yep I am distracted as usual. Between books, rps, and other stuff I just forget to come on wordpress and do my blog. Which really isn’t too bad sometimes. Although I really need to continue my reviews or Im not going to reach my 15 goal. Why did I choose fifteen *sighs* I should of been more reasonable. I also need to update my read list. Just a short little bit yep over and out.
Wow already ten days into the new year, and ten days into the start of the 100 book challenge I joined in. Already 15 books in. I could of read more but I get distracted easily. Not a lot of kid friendly books at this time. I rather like what Im doing with my list though. I link to the amazon page for any of those that is on amazon. My NSFC is used a lot, but then again I use it any time there is even one sexy scene. Been trying to figure if I should make a heat level filter as well. So that it might help people find the ones that are just right for them. I really do like a lot of the books Ive read.
On top of the book challenge I joined I intend to do 15 or so book reviews each month. This is more a self goal to try and get myself into the gear of doing something. And Im sure Ill end up re-reading books so I can properly review them since I dont let myself wait days or read another book before I review it. Still need to work on or fix my review format. The reviews are something I want to do.
Not much going on with me that I really feel like sharing. Im seeing someone for my depression and my next convention isn’t until April. Which is when my birthday is. Which is in a lot less time then I see in my mind. 😐 I think I need to work on sorting my stuff and figuring what Im going to take to Sakuracon. Ill be rooming with friends WOOT. Although sadly I didn’t get the cosplay done I wanted to do. But Ill try and figure how to make Ruby’s outfit from RWBY sooner or later. I dont want to buy it from online due to the issues of I dont think Ill get the quality I want. When in doubt make yourself.
Anyways TT yal

WE KILL FOR PROFIT
WE NEVER MISS
Terminally young, gorgeous, and ripped, Dane Morgan hides out tending bar at the SEX AND SUNBURN club. He’s almost forgotten his Viking past. If only he didn’t attract so much attention. Then one day, when he least expects it, his mate walks in. And his berserker comes to life.
Evangeline Harper’s a complete introvert. College educated, she works hard to appear cool, poised, and all business. Negotiation is just part of her resume; her job is acquiring beachfront property. This Dane Morgan looks easy. He’s young, rich, gorgeous, and drops everything the moment he spies her. Easy money. Easy deal.
THE ATTRACTION OF OPPOSITES
She’s out of her element the moment she hits the sand. Sticks out like a penguin in a flock of pink flamingoes. Nobody wears business attire to a beachfront club. Despite their differences, everything clicks. That is…until he spots her wedding ring.
This was not my first VAL book by far. I had the luck of getting the first four books in a bundle, and then the fifth book loose. At least as loose as kindle goes. I adored the books, of course I was surprised that it wasn’t as graphic as I thought they would be. It plays more emphasis on the duo involved. I really enjoyed this book because it was adorable to me. A vampire whose world becomes whole with the love of his existence.
The characters were great, the nicknames adorable. I loved the boat and the name of the bar. It was short, too short I feel so much. But its better to me for it to be too short then to not have it at all.
Dane- Main male, vampire of viking existence. He is just to die for I thought. I find myself liking vikings more and more.
Evangeline- Mate of Dane’s existence she was likable. I would of loved to of learned more about her history and such. She was married before and I would of loved more on that.

I love these little books, little books cause they are only about 79 pages long. And Dane did not disappoint. Its worth what its listed I think. Id more go for the book bundles, more bang for your buck.

What do you get when you cross a hockey mom with the grim reaper?
Me, Lisa Carron. If being a depressed, frumpy, widowed mother of three wasn’t bad enough, I just found out I’m a grim reaper. I know what you’re thinking. Wow, that’s kind of sexy and full of awesomeness. Hardly. Oh, and my clients? Stupid people. Like I don’t get enough of that from the living.
Since Alaska is big and angels of death are few, I’ve been partnered with reaper extraordinaire, Nate Cramer. He’s strong, silent, and way too good looking for my recently widowed state.Oh, and he reaps violent criminals, so that should be interesting.
Forget the danger and the hours of self-analysis it will take for me to find my reaper mojo. My biggest problem? Hiding it all from my overly attentive family and nosy neighbors. Now that’s going to take a miracle.
It actually took me a while to read this because I kept getting distracted. I started the first page then forgot I was reading. And the second time I picked it up I forgot what I was reading for a while. XD This has been on my too read since I first saw it, in what seems forever ago. What could be more interesting a Reaping Soccer Mom!
Although finding out why/how she became a Reaper was saddening, I found her first reap hilarious and I think she is just what those old fashion folks need in the New Reaping Generation. At least I can only think that she is going to cause reviews and changes in the norms. I actually have a few ideas on what makes her so special. As well as others in the book.
I had felt it was a tad short by the time I finished it. I craved more, especially since I felt it left off at such an evil cliff hanger. Im really hopefully for more of the Reaps, because this could be epic gold in my opinion.
Lisa Carron- Main female lead and Reaper to be. Mother of three, widow of a year. She was a character I empathized for and enjoyed. Mature and working on getting back into the motherly kick of things.
Nate Cramer- Her partner in Reap, he is an enigma I feel still. Few ideas on ties and such. Im looking forward to possibly learning more about him.
Vella Anderson- Another enigma to me at the moment. Lisa’s best friend but I feel there is more to her then meets the eye.
Bronte, Breck, Bryce- Lisa’s children. I noticed they are all BR babies. And I feel for them and what they went through.
Hal Lee Lewya- OMG *clears throat* that is all
Some reason I think that Carron reminds me of Charon.
This was a great and amusing book. There was no real intimacy in it which was refreshing with the last few books I read. I loved the ideas of the plot and set up. The characters where enchanting and greatly amusing. Of course I feel it was short and I want more!!!
Only nine because I really wanted more. But all good things must end 😀
First off Happy new years. Im hoping to keep this updated as the year goes on. Especially since I decided to take part in Freda’s Voice 100+ book challenge. Then again considering in the last 8 months I read about 299 books/bundles(on my kindle) thats not separating books in bundles and none kindle books. So I think its more like 350 but that might just be my pride. I want to read more! Im hoping to try and do 15 book reviews this month, and maybe 15 each month. That way I do finish 100 books. But Im going to list books whether I review them or not here.
