About me? My name is Skye Kiloh, feel free to call me Hawk or Kitsune if you want though. Im a twenty something youngling and I enjoy writing, reading, drawing and many other leisures. I am a long time single woman with little luck in love. But more then capable to understand what a relationship is meant to be like.
I write fiction, pure and simple. More often fantasy or paranormal. I like to write and chronogolize worlds unlike but like our own. Characters you could love, or hate because they seem real. I had a long time curse of the ch2 Id get to ch2 and get stuck and lose focus. But Ive recently pulled out of it.
Im not sure what I want to do or if I would be able to be a professional writer, but I do know. I want people to tell me they couldnt put my book down. I want and hope to enchant people with the worlds I see, because I feel that I will be able to do that. I WANT to do that. I just dont have the focus to truly get there yet.
I’m chronically distracted, and your comment about the ch2 curse is true for me as well, but its more like ch12 in my case. half way there, then i get another idea that i want to chase more. i guess its the ADD.
I’ve found that I love to write short stories because of this, and i actually find that i’m more likely to read shorts now as well. i think it’s really important to figure out what you enjoy and write that. i’ve tried to write stories that i think are “marketable” and i find i’m just not into it — and it shows!
Ive never managed a short story. Coupled with the ch 2 curse its the ‘when is it right to end’ mental path. Since I dont like the idea of something ending. I write what I like, I write what I see. If its marketable then hey maybe Ill get a break someday, if not then Ill find my own way to spread the story. I write because I like to, because I have too many ideas. If I could sell just my story ideas I think Id make a pretty penny. But you cant really just sell ideas. Plus Id fidget with where the characters go. Ive thought about writing a series of shorts. Each leading into the next and displaying a variety of characters. But Im also always unsure how to write males. As well as no idea what to do when it feels its going adult. I dont moderate what the book is going. I just type.
